Shipping policy

At Harvest Design Living, we take great care in preparing your order for delivery. All our furniture is handmade by our artisans and carefully packaged to ensure it reaches you safely.


1. Dispatch Times

  • Orders are processed and dispatched Monday–Friday (excluding public holidays).

  • Smaller homewares and accessories are generally dispatched within 3–7 business days.

  • Furniture and large items may take 7–14 business days to prepare, as they require special handling and carrier arrangements.

  • Once dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS.


2. Delivery Services

  • Metro Areas (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, ACT): We use trusted couriers and furniture carriers for home delivery.

  • Regional & Remote Areas: Delivery times may be longer, and additional fees may apply. We will confirm before dispatch.

  • Western Australia, Northern Territory & Tasmania: Large items may require a custom freight quote.


3. Delivery Costs

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your postcode and item size/weight.

  • Oversized and fragile furniture (such as bedheads, mirrors, sideboards) may attract higher shipping fees due to specialist handling.

  • We may contact you after purchase if a shipping surcharge applies to your location.


4. Delivery Process

  • Our carriers deliver to ground floor, front door only unless arranged otherwise.

  • If you require upstairs delivery, assembly, or packaging removal, please contact us before ordering to check availability.

  • Deliveries are generally scheduled during business hours; someone must be present to accept delivery.


5. Click & Collect (Melbourne Only)

  • Free pickup is available from our Melbourne warehouse.

  • You will be notified when your order is ready for collection, and photo ID may be required on pickup.


6. Pre-Orders & Backorders

If an item is marked as Pre-Order or Backorder, we will provide an estimated arrival date. Please note these are approximate and subject to change due to production and shipping delays.


7. Damages in Transit

We take the utmost care with packaging, but if your item arrives damaged:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide photos of the damage to both product and packaging.

  3. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


8. International Shipping

Currently, we only deliver within Australia.
