Our items are made of Natural Rattan which is a organic material, therefor we recommend you keep your item indoors, or under cover when in outdoor areas away from direct sunlight and rain.
Regularly dust or vacuum your item and simply wipe with a damp cloth to maintain longevity of the rattan. You can also apply a little Linseed oil which will nourish the Rattan. If your item does get wet, leave outside in the sun to dry.
If your item has Rattan Webbing, it needs to be wet when fitted, which then dries tight. Humidity and rain may cause the rattan to go loose and bulge slightly, although once it dries it then goes tight again. Should the Rattan Webbing stay loose and look stretched, then apply water and allow to dry naturally in the sun. And yes, it will dry tight yet again.
Most of our items do not require assembly or installation and are ready for you to start enjoying from the moment you receive them.
Some designs of our beds, cots and sideboards do require assembly which instructions are sent with your item. We have kept assembly to a minimum, so don't worry, we have made it a quick and easy process! Or better still, you can request to receive your item already assembled, but please keep in mind this will incur an extra delivery fee in freight. Please also note the item's dimensions, to make sure it can fit through any doors/hallways etc once you receive it. There is no cost for us to assemble the item for you.
